Every other divorce directory sells position. This one doesn’t — a professional’s rank comes from verified client reviews and whether they publish real pricing, never from what they pay us. State-by-state listings are rolling out now; the cost ranges and vetting rules below already apply everywhere.
How the directory works
Three tiers. The first is automatic. The other two are earned — and the top one cannot be bought at any price.
Credentials verified
Every professional in a state is listed whether they participate or not — license active, good standing, any public disciplinary history surfaced rather than hidden. Checked at signup, re-checked annually.
Publishes real numbers
The professional opts in and publishes their actual consult fee, retainer range, or hourly rate — so you know the cost before you ever pick up the phone.
Rated by real clients
Five or more transaction-verified reviews from people who actually hired them, on questions that predict a good divorce, not a five-star average. Cannot be bought — only earned from people they served.
No paid placement, ever. Not sponsored results, not featured tiers. Professionals pay for presence and tools — never for position.
Only real clients can review. Proof of engagement required — a redacted retainer, invoice, or superbill. You can’t review the professional who represented your spouse.
Sample size shown honestly. “4.7 from 6 reviews” is not “4.7” — we say so, always.
Standing can be lost. A new disciplinary action, a retaliation complaint, or a pattern of complaints triggers automatic suspension pending review.
What these professionals typically cost, by region
Cost swings more by region than almost anything else — a contested attorney case in the Northeast can run double what the same case costs in the South. Individual pricing rolls out per professional as they publish Verified Pricing, and per-state pages (see Florida, below) break this down further by county.
