Not every check is the same check, and most directories hide that. Every listing below says which kind it was, and the date we did it — because a license check is a photograph, not a guarantee. Somebody confirmed in August can be suspended in September.

Nobody paid to be listed here, and nobody can. Listings are not for sale, and no professional on this page has paid us anything to appear on it or to appear higher on it. If we are ever paid in connection with anyone listed here, it will say so on this page, next to that listing. Most of these were confirmed against a state register. A small number were not, and rather than quietly presenting those as equivalent, they are marked and we are re-checking them.

Not included yet. CDFAs: No Arkansas CDFAs are listed. IDFA is the only body that certifies this credential, and both its directory and its verification page sit behind a "prove you’re human" check we don’t work around. Individual profiles can be read if you already know someone’s profile number, but no Arkansas profile surfaced in any search. Several Arkansas advisers advertise the CDFA designation on their own websites — that’s a claim, not a check, so we left the category empty rather than pass it on.
Not included yet. Therapists: Everyone here is a counselor or marriage-and-family therapist confirmed on the state counseling board’s lookup. Clinical social workers (LCSWs) are missing entirely, and they make up a large share of Arkansas divorce therapists — the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board’s roster blocked automated access and its older search address has been retired.
Not included yet. Therapists: The state lookup confirms the license only — name, number, city, type and status. It doesn’t record what someone specializes in, so the divorce focus noted for each therapist comes from their own public practice listing.
